Job summary

Kids for the Future in Middletown, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with the safety, security, and operation of the facility. You will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and work with project teams, independently on assigned repairs.

The role requires a high school diploma, experience in maintenance and related fields, and the ability to pass a background check. This is a full-time on-site position in Building Services with daily facility duties.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in carpentry, electrical, maintenance, grounds keeping or a related field
• Knowledge of plumbing, motors, pumps, electrical and mechanical required.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and prioritizes work lists.
• Problem solves issues with machinery, systems and tools.
• Work with machinery, systems and tools safely and efficiently (OSHA compliance).
• Ability to work independently from a project list.
• Report issues/problems to branch executive
• Follows all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures. Completes incident and accident reports as necessary.
• Organizes and puts away needed equipment and tools. Reports damaged equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
