Job summary

Try-It Distributing, Inc. in Lancaster, NY is seeking a Facilities Technician/Maintenance Support to perform general upkeep and on-site repairs. The role covers painting, light fixtures, HVAC and plumbing assistance, carpentry, electrical work and routine maintenance of company equipment.

You will respond to on-call needs, assist with snow removal, cleaning, grounds maintenance and basic janitorial duties, and you may work flexible hours with some overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience using electrical repair tools and equipment.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Paint and refurbish areas as needed.
• Perform maintenance work as assigned and in a timely manner.
• Replace light bulbs and assist with minor repairs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance of HVAC systems and filters.
• Assist with plumbing fixtures, unclog lines and drains.
• Assist with carpentry, electrical work and general repairs.
• Maintain company-owned equipment and assist with snow removal.
• Perform janitorial duties; clean restrooms and common areas.
• Assist with moving, loading and storing supplies and equipment.
• Respond to on-call situations; overtime and flexible hours may occur.
