Job summary

WSP USA is expanding its On Call Emergency Management Recovery Cadre and is seeking qualified On Call Emergency Management Specialists, Recovery to support disaster recovery operations. As work is performed at the point of deployment, these roles have the potential to report out of any WSP USA office including Dallas, TX; Miami, FL; Tampa, FL; Orlando, FL; and more.

We are seeking individuals who are eager to support emergency management recovery efforts on an on-call basis.

Qualifications

Broad knowledge of Emergency Management principles, methods and techniques.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
FEMA EMI Independent Study - Professional Development Series certification.

Responsibilities

Support clients through all phases of disaster recovery, providing technical assistance and expertise.
Deploy to Emergency Operations Centers and Field Staging Areas to support recovery operations.
Manage recovery projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery.
Utilize grant management systems to monitor client progress, documentation status, and funding milestones.
Maintain working knowledge of procurement, contracting, and grant compliance across disaster recovery funding sources.
Attend periodic training to stay current on recovery program policies and deployment eligibility.
