WSP Global Inc. in Houston, TX seeks an onboard On-Call Emergency Management Specialist – Response to report out of Houston. Cadre assignments are on an as-needed basis with deployments typically within 24–48 hours and up to 30 days.

Availability for long deployments may be required. The role supports clients nationwide in building response and recovery capabilities, performing logistics, supply, cost documentation, and resource unit functions while ensuring safety and ethical conduct per

Formación

• 7+ years experience in Emergency Management, including 1+ years in an Emergency Management role (Response, Recovery or related).
• Broad knowledge of Emergency Management principles, methods and techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• FEMA Emergency Management Institute Independent Study - Professional Development Series certification.
• Travel required – deploy to disaster areas with little/no advance notice; potentially long deployments (up to 30 days).
• Pass WSP Motor Vehicle screening and adhere to Code of Conduct.

Responsabilidades

• Support Emergency Management team in servicing clients before, during, and after disasters.
• Deploy to Emergency Operations Center and/or Field Staging Area.
• Perform logistics, supply, cost/documentation and resource unit functions.
• Attend periodic training to maintain deployment eligibility.
• Support Emergency Management Project Management functions.
• Uphold safety and ethical conduct and policies.
