Job summary

ICL in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a direct support professional (DSP) for a floater/on-call role, providing essential care in a residential setting with a minimum of 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities include personal care, medication administration per AMAP, transport, and coordinating with clinical staff to support daily living skills and community integration. Valid NY Driver’s license, SCIP-R, AMAP, and CPR/First Aid are required or obtainable within six months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) Certificate required.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License with a clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and health support, including hygiene and mobility assistance.
• Medication administration per AMAP policy and vital signs.
• Maintain a safe, clean residential environment and assist with daily living skills.
• Support nutrition, meal prep, and social dining activities.
• Document progress and participate in team meetings and trainings.
