Job summary

Institute for Community Living Inc. seeks a Floater/On-Call Direct Support Professional in New York. The role requires morning/overnight shifts, weekend availability, and a minimum of 24 hours per week in a residential setting.

The DSP will provide personal care, health support, and skill-building to adults with developmental or physical disabilities, under supervision. AMAP and NY driver’s license are required and the position offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; DSP certificate required.
• Experience providing direct care to adults with disabilities preferred.
• Valid NYS driver's license with clean record required; AMAP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and health support, including medication administration per AMAP.
• Support nutrition, mealtime activities, and social dining skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean residential environment and assist with transportation.
