Job summary

Advocate Health Lake Norman CT department is hiring a Radiology CT Technologist to perform CT scans, verify orders, and assist radiologists. The role includes on-call and holiday rotation, with a 40-hour work week and full-time status.

You will prepare patients, explain procedures, manage contrast administration, and ensure strict radiation safety. ARRT certification and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB recognized by ARRT, plus BLS.
• Proficient in radiology procedures and safety standards.
• Strong patient communication and care skills, with attention to protocol.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and consult radiologist for discrepancies.
• Identify patients and prepare them, explaining procedures and documenting details.
• Review medical history and correlate results with exam being performed.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique; participate in emergency response as needed.
