Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans for inpatients and outpatients. You will prepare patients, verify orders with radiologists, and operate CT equipment while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Weekend and night rotations may apply, with a strong emphasis on patient care and teamwork. The role requires ARRT radiology certification or NMTCB, CT registry, and BLS.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests, verify orders, and perform CT scans under Radiologist supervision.
• Prepare patients, obtain consent, and explain procedures clearly.
• Operate CT equipment, ensure image quality, and document in the MAR.
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and bloodborne pathogen guidelines.
• Collaborate with nursing and radiology staff during exams and emergencies.
