Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (CT) to support CT scanning and radiology procedures in Charlotte, NC. You will verify orders, prepare patients, administer contrast, and collaborate with Radiologists to ensure accurate, safe imaging.

The role requires ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with CT registry within one year, BLS, and the ability to work extended shifts including weekends. Full-time benefits apply in a 36-hour work week.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB with CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders and queries discrepancies with Radiologist.
• Identifies patient and prepares for procedures with explanations.
• Reviews EMR for history and correlates results with the exam.
• Performs CT scanning and assists during invasive procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique and radiation safety standards.
• Rotates shifts, including call or weekends, as needed.
• Operates radiology computer system and documents contrast.
