Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist for the Lake Norman CT department. The role requires handling CT exams, verifying orders with the Radiologist, and preparing patients with clear explanations of procedures.

Candidates must have ARRT Radiologic or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT within one year of hire, plus BLS. The position is full-time, on-site with a 40-hour week and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders with Radiologist approval. Communicates discrepancies.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prepare patients and document.
• Operates CT scanner and assists Radiologist/PA during procedures; ensures sterile technique.
