Job summary

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Response Senior Managing Associate to support on-call deployments for client incident objectives. Candidates must be available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours and remain on-site for 30 days during activations.

The role focuses on leading response planning, coordinating with ESFs, and managing operations, staffing, and partnerships, with a strong emphasis on policy interpretation and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university with 7+ years of experience, or 10+ years in a relevant field.
• NIMS ICS All-Hazards Position Specific training or credentials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on client tempo.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and execution of the response plan, providing guidance and support to clients and leadership.
• Optimize the functional organization of the emergency operations center (EOC)/joint field office (JFO) based on incident complexity.
• Serve as a policy expert, interpreting complex federal/state regulations and advising leadership on operational constraints and eligibility criteria.
• Assist in overseeing operations, including staff allocation and resource management.
• Establish and manage partnerships and client relationships, relay status updates and progress reports to internal leadership.
