Job summary

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is seeking Emergency Management Specialists to join its Response Cadre on an on-call basis.

Candidates must be available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours and remain on-site for 30 days anywhere in the United States. Responsibilities include supporting client incident objectives, coordinating with ESFs and partner agencies, providing leadership summaries, researching complex issues, and maintaining calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• At least five (5) years of professional experience in emergency management or a related field.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client’s tempo.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
• NIMS/ICS All-Hazards training or credentials.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call for travel within 24 to 72 hours of notice and remain deployed for at least 30 days anywhere in the United States.
• Understand the emergency management system and how jurisdictions coordinate during large-scale incidents.
• Provide summary products for leadership.
• Research complex issues and present outcomes to a supervisor or audience.
• Implement incident objectives with diverse agencies and stakeholders.
• Remain calm and focused under pressure while handling multiple priorities.
