Job summary

Hagerty Consulting Inc. is seeking an Independent Contractor – Response Division to join on-call deployments. Candidates must be ready to deploy within 24 to 72 hours and remain on-site for 30 days, supporting client incident objectives and coordinating with ESFs.

This opportunity helps build a talent pipeline for a nationwide emergency response function, with flexible activation as client needs arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of professional experience, or 6 years in a relevant field as an alternative.
• NIMS ICS All-Hazards Position Specific training or credentials.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative guidance translating emergency management regulations into actionable strategies.
• Develop incident deliverables such as SITREPs and operational work plans.
• Act as liaison between external partners and Hagerty leadership; provide status updates during response cycles.
• Create incident action plans and translate high-level strategy into tactical assignments.
• Perform duties to ensure smooth operations within EOC and JFO.
