Job summary

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Response Senior Managing Associate to serve on an on-call basis and deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notice, remaining on-site for at least 30 days during activations.

You will drive the development and execution of the response plan, coordinate with ESFs, and support client objectives on complex emergencies. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 7+ years of experience, or 10+ years substituted for a degree, and be proficient in the

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university and at least seven (7) years of professional experience, or a total of at least ten (10) years of experience in a relevant field may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS) All-Hazards Position Specific training courses or credentials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint).
• The ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client’s operational tempo.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and execution of the response plan, providing guidance and support to clients and leadership.
• Optimize the functional organization of the emergency operations center (EOC)/joint field office (JFO) based on incident complexity.
• Serve as a policy expert, interpreting complex federal/state regulations and advising leadership on operational constraints and eligibility criteria.
• Assist in overseeing operations, including staff allocation and resource management.
• Establish and manage partnerships and client relationships, relay status updates and progress reports to internal leadership.
