Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician in Texas to help maintain the heartbeat of AWS infrastructure. You will perform server rack installations, hardware break-fix, and network troubleshooting, supporting 24/7 operations and on-call shifts across data center sites.

The role requires travel between data centers, flexibility for training periods, and collaboration with engineers, vendors, and contractors to keep AWS services running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting experience.
• 2+ years of computer layer 1/2 networking experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware repairs to maintain service availability.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents.
• Serve as a primary contact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance.
• Contribute to documentation and onboarding of new team members.
