Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. - A19 in Clifton, TX is seeking a Data Center Technician to install and troubleshoot server hardware, diagnose networking issues, and participate in on-call rotations to keep AWS services available.

You will travel between data centers, work shifts including nights and weekends, and contribute to change management, documentation, and training of new team members, all while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in computer networking.

Responsibilities

• Performing server rack installations, hardware break-fix, troubleshooting network issues, and repairs to ensure service availability.
• Serving as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Performing on-call duties and participating in maintenance and change management activities.
• Contributing to documentation and process improvement initiatives and training new team members.
