Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Biometric Technician (On-Call) to support USCIS ASC operations at the St. Thomas, VI site. The role focuses on biometric registration, applicant screening, and maintaining a secure, customer-facing environment.

Candidates must be available five days a week during standard ASC hours; hours are not guaranteed and position is casual on-call. Benefits include health/dental/vision and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to type and use basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of biometrics training and become certified within sixty days.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration.
• Ensure all entrants are approved applicants and visitors.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the US Government.
• Perform quality biometrics processing: fingerprints, photographs, signatures.
• Screen applicants with valid appointment notice and ID before entry.
• Utilize barriers to ensure safe, organized facility entry.
• Maintain visitor control log and reconcile biometrics paperwork.
