Amentum is recruiting a Biometric Technician in Hartford, CT to support USCIS ASC operations. The on-call role requires weekday coverage, with hours 7:45am–4:15pm, and no guaranteed schedule.

You will handle biometrics collection, crowd control, and customer service as part of a professional team. Qualifications include a high school diploma, English proficiency, and the ability to obtain facility credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials; US citizenship required.
• Must be able to speak and write English.
• Ability to stand for full shift and handle fingerprint collection.
• Completed biometrics training within 60 days.
• Ability to work with the public in a high-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration to the United States.
• Provide front-line customer service as representatives of Amentum and the U.S. Government.
• Perform quality biometrics processing including fingerprints, photos, and signatures.
• Screen applicants for valid appointment notices and entry.
• Maintain visitor control and facility checks.
• Assist Site Supervisor and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Manage administrative paperwork and biometrics logs.
