Job summary

Amentum supports USCIS ASC operations in Dover, DE. This on-call, casual role handles biometric registrations and customer service for applicants. You must be flexible to work Monday–Friday 7:45am–4:15pm as needed, with no guaranteed schedule, and you will receive training to perform biometrics processing.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials; US citizenship required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Ability to stand upright for full shift duration.
• Ability to hold and grasp hands for fingerprints.
• Ability to work in a high paced public environment.
• Able to type and use basic computer skills.
• Successful completion of biometrics training within sixty days.
• Desirable: ability to speak a foreign language.

Responsibilities

• Complete biometrics registration for applicants seeking legal immigration.
• Ensure entrants are approved applicants and manage entry with security measures.
• Provide front-line customer service on behalf of Amentum and USCIS.
• Safeguard personal data and maintain visitor control logs.
• Perform biometrics processing with fingerprints, photos, and signatures.
• Screen applicants for valid appointment notices and IDs.
• Assist Site Supervisor and call local authorities when needed.
• Maintain processing time charts and reconcile biometric records.
