Requirements include a minimum of 2 years serving experience in upscale banquets, strong knowledge of food and beverages, impeccable grooming, and the ability to stand and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years serving experience in an upscale banquet establishment.
• Good knowledge of food & beverages, including wines and cocktails.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Impeccable grooming and presentation.
• Physical strength to carry trays and stand for long periods (up to 25 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in greeting, seating and wait-on with discretion.
• Provide friendly, unobtrusive service per standards of the hotel.
• Perform pre- and post-service steps as per procedures.
• Maintain correct service sequence and ensure consistency across meal periods.
• Explain menu items, ingredients and preparation methods to guests.
