Job summary

Capstone Management in Wilmer, TX is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to service and repair, diagnose issues, and perform preventative maintenance on our properties.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of apartment maintenance experience, has basic trade skills, holds a valid driver’s license, and is willing to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• Technical or other training completed.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance per policies.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials and inventory, and notifies supervisor for reorders as needed.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Assists in grounds, cleaning, and painting tasks as required.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call shifts.
