Job summary

Capstone Management is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs across our communities. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and participate in preventative maintenance to keep units in excellent condition.

The role involves preparing vacants for leasing, inspecting completed work, and coordinating with vendors for supplies. A valid driver’s license and HVAC/CPO certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Technical/other training is noted as beneficial.
• Able to read and follow policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and punch lists.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about reordering needs.
• Completes documentation promptly to ensure service requests are documented and tracked.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning, painting, and minor repairs as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and be on-call
• Promotes a positive image of the apartment community and management company.
