Job summary

Wilhoit Properties, Inc. is seeking Property Maintenance Technicians to perform a range of maintenance tasks across our apartment communities, ensuring safety and comfort for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities include making ready apartments, servicing electrical, plumbing, and appliances, inspecting grounds and systems, maintaining a tidy shop, and handling after-hours emergencies as needed. Experience preferred; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge required.
• Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills essential for working on various projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical appearance and integrity of the apartment community.
• Ensure clean and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors.
• Complete apartment make-ready procedures: painting, servicing appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures; repair and replacements; lock checks; cleaning.
• Regularly inspect grounds, buildings, lighting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment; perform repairs with Property Manager approval.
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain curb appeal through lawncare.
• Take after-hours emergency calls as assigned.
