Job summary

Wilhoit Properties, Inc. is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to keep our apartment communities well maintained. You will perform painting, appliance, plumbing, and electrical servicing, fix faulty parts, replace bulbs, check locks, and ensure a clean, safe living environment for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities include making-ready procedures, inspections, shop maintenance, inventory control, and lawncare for curb appeal. After-hours emergencies may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance is preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills essential for working on various projects

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical appearance and integrity of the apartment community
• Ensure clean and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors
• Completes apartment make-ready procedures such as painting; servicing appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures; repairing parts; replacing light bulbs; checking locks; cleaning
• M ake regular inspections of grounds, buildings, lighting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment and perform repairs with approval
• Maintain organized maintenance shop and inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
• Maintain curb appeal by lawncare
• Handle after-hours emergency calls as assigned
