Job summary

Kairoi seeks a Service Technician to maintain and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems across our multifamily communities. You’ll respond to resident service requests, prepare vacant apartments, and assist with make-ready tasks to ensure units are clean, functional, and appealing.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of apartment maintenance or repair experience, including basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
• EPA and HVAC certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• OSHA safety knowledge and compliance.
• Excellent customer service and resident-focused communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, and flexibility for on-call.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests in a timely, respectful, and professional manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry).
• Perform repairs and replacements to resolve resident issues efficiently.
• Communicate progress and expected completion times to residents.
• Assist in making-ready vacant apartments for new residents.
• Keep common areas, pools, laundry rooms, and fitness centers clean and maintained.
• Report safety or maintenance concerns to the Service Manager.
• Organize and inventory maintenance equipment and supplies.
