Qualifications

Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in apartment home repair, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and equipment repair.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
EPA and HVAC certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
OSHA safety knowledge and customer-service oriented mindset.
Ability to work flex schedules and be on-call for emergencies.
Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

Respond to resident service requests in a timely, respectful, and professional manner.
Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry repairs.
Perform repairs and replacements as needed, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
Communicate with residents throughout the service process with progress updates and estimated completion times.
Assist in make-ready process for vacant apartments, ensuring they are clean, functional, and aesthetically appealing for new residents.
Maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, common areas, and amenities.
Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hour emergencies.
