Job summary

Kairoi is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the upkeep and functionality of our multifamily communities. You will respond to resident service requests, prepare vacant apartments for new residents, and assist with maintenance tasks across the property.

You will troubleshoot and repair appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units, perform routine inspections, and assist in on-call emergencies to ensure a premium resident experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of apartment repair experience across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• EPA and HVAC certifications, or willingness to obtain them, required.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• Strong customer-service mindset and responsive communication.
• Flex schedule and on-call for emergencies may be required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests in a timely, respectful, and professional manner.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry repairs.
• Perform repairs and replacements to resolve issues efficiently.
• Communicate with residents about progress and estimated completion times.
• Assist make-ready process for vacant apartments to welcome new residents.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities in good condition.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies.
