Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building areas meet company standards. The role covers preventative maintenance, make-ready tasks, and resident-request work orders at our Anaheim properties.

Requires 1-2 years of maintenance experience; HVAC certification is preferred; experience with affordable housing is a plus. EPA refrigerant certifications may be required; valid driver’s license to operate carts on-site may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of prior property maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Affordable housing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Takes care of make-ready processes to prepare vacant units for leasing.
• Manages materials, tools, and inventory; documents work performed.
• Keeps grounds, common areas, and amenities clean and safe.
• Supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
