Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a property maintenance technician in Anaheim, CA. The role requires 1-2 years of maintenance experience with HVAC certification preferred and affordable housing experience a plus.

The position involves on-call duties, a 9am–6pm schedule Monday–Friday (subject to business needs), and responsibilities spanning work orders, make-ready prep, inventory control, and general site upkeep.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of property maintenance experience required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Affordable housing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service, as well as preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing the cause of the defect and making repairs per safety standards and code requirements.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections, creating a punch list, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from the property’s maintenance department and tracks inventory and re-orders as needed.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests to ensure proper recording and tracking.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
