Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and maintain documentation.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal), state/local certifications, and a valid driver’s license for on-site operations as applicable.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recovery certifications required.
• State and local jurisdictions certifications required.
• Valid driver's license for golf-cart operation where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects, following safety policies and codes.
• Complete make-ready work orders and pre-move-out inspections.
• Manage materials inventory and requisition supplies.
• Document service requests accurately.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with cleaning and painting.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing parts when possible.
• Conduct property inspections for safety and risk management.
