Job summary

Michaels in KANKAKEE-BRADLEY, IL seeks a customer-focused team member to help shoppers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloads, stocking, planograms, and store recovery to keep the store well-merchandised and in-stock.

The role involves omni-channel duties (BOPIS/SFS), Rewards enrollments, and guest satisfaction efforts. Retail or customer service experience is preferred.

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and Company policies; maintain a positive, respectful store image
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
