Job summary

Michaels Stores in Oswego, IL is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. Cross-trained on tasks including truck unload, stocking, and store recovery, you will support omnichannel processes and store operations to maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they’re looking for.
• Ensure fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards and enroll them.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns/go backs for a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
