Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategy & Analytics – Merchandise Operations to define and enable omni-channel inventory decisions. You will shape product availability across merchandising units, translating data into insights that drive automation and better customer experiences.

You will partner with product, data science, and tech teams, communicate with leaders, and steer end-to-end process improvements to support availability across customer touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or statistics.
• 4–6 years of data analytics experience or equivalent.
• Preferred: analytics certificates or master's degrees in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Define KPIs and monitor performance across large stakeholder groups.
• Provide data-driven insights to influence business strategies.
• Partner with product, data science and tech teams to scale governance.
• Communicate findings to enable leadership buy-in and action.
• Perform business and statistical analyses to explain drivers.
• Navigate ambiguity with cross-functional collaboration.
