Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner for an on-site role in Omaha, NE. You will manage full-cycle recruiting, partnering with hiring managers and business unit leaders to fill roles effectively and consistently.

You will oversee intake, requisition development, sourcing, assessment, and offers, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements while maintaining timely communication with candidates and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of full cycle recruitment including sourcing, assessment, interviewing, and offers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems; Workday HCM preferred.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, set expectations, and plan interviews.
• Create quality, well-structured job requisitions from hiring manager needs.
• Identify proactive sourcing approaches to maintain a diverse candidate slate and provide updates.
• Screen, interview, and select candidates in line with company policies and legal requirements.
• Manage the job offer process and pre-employment due diligence.
• Ensure applicant tracking system compliance and timely updates for placement or closes.
• Monitor market trends and workforce availability to inform recruiting efforts.
• Support other talent management sourcing activities as assigned.
