Job summary
WEG Electric Corp. in Houston seeks a Business Development Manager, OEM Automation – Oil & Gas, to grow relationships with OEMs, system integrators and channel partners nationwide. You will drive automation solutions for upstream and production applications, focusing on VFDs, soft starters, and UL 508A panels.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Business or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in business development, technical sales or account management in industrial automation or oil & gas.
- Strong knowledge of VFDs, soft starters, controls, and PLC-based systems.
- Proven track record developing new business with OEMs, integrators, or end users.
Responsibilities
- Meet sales goals for VFDs, soft starters, and UL508A panels.
- Generate leads, develop opportunities, and close new business.
- Qualify leads and prioritize viable opportunities.
- Visit customer sites to review challenges and new applications.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define custom solutions.
- Manage automation pipeline and forecast revenue; track KPIs.
