WEG Electric Corp. in the United States seeks a Business Development Manager, OEM Automation – Material Handling & Conveyors to grow profitable sales with OEMs, integrators, and solution providers nationwide.

Lead qualification, build relationships, and coordinate with engineering and product teams to tailor automation solutions. The role requires 5+ years in industrial automation sales, strong knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, and UL508A panels, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or account management in industrial automation.
• Proven success in developing new business and growing relationships with OEM customers.
• Strong knowledge of VFDs, soft starters, industrial controls, motor control, and automation solutions.
• Understanding of UL508A panels, PLC-based systems, and systems integration.
• Ability to work with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to develop and close complex opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Meet sales goals for VFDs, soft starters, industrial controls, and UL508A panels.
• Generate sales leads, develop opportunities, and close new business.
• Visit customer sites to review technical challenges and new applications for products.
• Coordinate with internal teams to define custom product solutions and services.
