Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Business Development Manager, OEM Automation – Oil & Gas, to grow automation solutions with OEMs, system integrators, and channel partners across upstream, midstream and production-focused applications.

You will build relationships, qualify opportunities, and coordinate with product managers and engineers to deliver UL508A panels and motor control solutions. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial automation sales and resides near Houston, TX.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in business development or technical sales within industrial automation.
Strong knowledge of VFDs, soft starters, motor controls, and UL508A panels.
Experience selling to OEMs and system integrators in Oil & Gas.
Ability to collaborate with engineering, procurement and operations to close complex opportunities.

Responsibilities

Meet sales goals for VFDs, soft starters, industrial controls, and UL508A panels.
Generate leads, develop opportunities, and close new business with OEMs and integrators.
Qualify leads to identify viable opportunities and prioritize efforts.
Coordinate with Product Managers, Application Engineers, and Service personnel to define custom solutions.
