Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to support the Office of General Counsel with administrative coordination across compliance operations, including due diligence activities, in a hybrid environment.

Based in the Boston area or another listed U.S. office, you will help review background checks, monitor licensing, maintain databases, and prepare documents while safeguarding confidential information and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2 years experience in fast-paced legal environment.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organization and first level review of background checks for potential timekeeper candidates.
• Track issues from identification through resolution.
• Assist in monitoring attorney licensing compliance.
• Review and research compliance requests from firm attorneys and business professionals.
• Assist in creation and maintenance of databases.
• Research public records using public websites.
• Perform database research and data entry.
• Compile and organize information from various internal firm sources to support OGC projects.
• Assist with preparing a variety of documents, forms, charts, letters, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
