Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to support the Office of General Counsel with administrative coordination across firm compliance operations and risk management initiatives, including due diligence activities. This role sits in a hybrid work environment and requires handling confidential information with discretion.

The position supports background checks, licensing compliance, and data management for multiple offices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
2 years of experience in a fast-paced legal environment.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; database experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in organization and first level review of background checks for potential timekeeper candidates.
Track issues from identification through resolution.
Assist in monitoring attorney licensing compliance.
Review and research compliance requests from firm attorneys and business professionals.
Assist in creation and maintenance of databases.
Research public records using public websites.
Perform database research and data entry.
Compile and organize information from various internal firm sources to support OGC projects.
Assist with preparing a variety of documents, forms, charts, letters, etc.
