Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to support the firm's Office of General Counsel with administrative coordination for compliance operations, including due diligence activities. The role collaborates across teams to manage background checks, licensing compliance, and data tracking.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in a fast-paced legal environment preferred.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and database tools.

Responsibilities

Assist in organization and first level review of background checks for potential timekeeper candidates.
Track issues from identification through resolution.
Assist in monitoring attorney licensing compliance.
Review and research compliance requests from firm attorneys and business professionals.
Assist in creation and maintenance of databases.
Research public records using public websites.
Perform database research and data entry.
Compile and organize information from various internal firm sources to support OGC projects.
Assist with preparing a variety of documents, forms, charts, letters, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
