Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to support the Office of General Counsel with administrative coordination across compliance operations, including due diligence activities. The role is hybrid and can sit in Raleigh, NC, with opportunities for collaboration across multiple offices.

The candidate will assist in background checks, licensing compliance, and data maintenance, while communicating effectively with attorneys and business professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and databases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients, attorneys and staff.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organization and first level review of background checks for potential timekeeper candidates.
• Track issues from identification through resolution.
• Assist in monitoring attorney licensing compliance.
• Review and research compliance requests from firm attorneys and business professionals.
• Assist in creation and maintenance of databases.
• Research public records using public websites.
• Perform database research and data entry.
• Compile and organize information from various internal firm sources to support OGC projects.
• Assist with preparing a variety of documents, forms, charts, letters, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
