Qualifications

• 15+ years in offshore oil and gas business development, with a record of originating and winning complex deals.
• Deep, current Gulf of America networks among operators and offshore drilling contractors.
• Proven international business development success across offshore markets.
• Strong knowledge of offshore operations, logistics, and marine support.
• Consultative, discovery-led selling at senior levels with strong listening skills.
• Fluency in total cost of ownership, pricing, margins, and contract structures; executive communication.
• Ability to translate customer needs into capability requirements and collaborate with tech teams.
• Understanding of vendor qualification and HSE/technical approval processes.
• Self-directed and comfortable operating in ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a focused market and account plan prioritizing offshore energy customers and international markets.
• Build relationships with logistics leaders, marine managers, operations execs, procurement, and budget owners.
• Lead structured discovery to define current state, problems, impact, and desired future state.
• Build quantified, customer-validated business cases for change.
• Convert discovery into a qualified pipeline with stakeholders and timelines.
• Own opportunities end to end through proposals, negotiations, and contracts.
• Partner with product and engineering to translate needs into capabilities and specs.
• Monitor evaluations against success criteria and provide feedback on gaps.
• Maintain accurate CRM and weekly forecasting; disqualify unsupported opportunities.
• Document and share successful account strategies adapted to regional practices.
