Job summary

RRD Company in Indiana is seeking a 2nd shift offset press operator. You will set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single or multi-color offset presses, perform all make-ready tasks, inspect plates and cylinders, and ensure images are correctly positioned to meet quality specs.

Responsibilities include color corrections, press adjustments, and routine maintenance. The role offers a $21.80/hour base pay with a $2 shift differential for 2nd shift, plus comprehensive benefits and employer matching

Qualifications

• Knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications for setup materials.
• Understanding press capabilities and corrective adjustments for efficiency.
• Knowledge of packing pressure for proper printing pressure.
• Skill in using a micrometer to mount and align plates.
• Experience with light equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to adjust feeders and related components.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single or multi-color offset presses.
• Perform make-ready tasks and inspect plates/cylinders for accuracy.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform minor repairs; follow manufacturer maintenance.
