Job summary

RRD is seeking an experienced Printing and Bindery Specialist to set up, operate, and maintain a full-size, multi-color offset press in our Pittsburgh production facility. This role offers 2nd (3p-11p) or 3rd (11p-7a) shifts with a $2/hr paid differential, and includes make-ready tasks, color corrections, and routine maintenance to meet quality specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up, adjusting, and operating multi-color offset presses.
• Ability to read job specifications and determine press settings.
• Skilled in basic press maintenance and color control.
• Experience using a micrometer to align printing plates.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain a full size, multi-color offset press.
• Review job specifications to determine press setup according to run imposition.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates or installing cylinders and check image alignment.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain press; perform minor repairs and routine maintenance.
