Qualifications

• Knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, equipment and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications to determine required setup materials.
• Understanding of press capabilities to choose appropriate adjustments.
• Familiarity with packing pressure for different jobs and press types.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single or multi‑color offset presses.
• Perform make-ready tasks including hanging plates, installing cylinders, and image positioning.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs; perform routine maintenance.
• Carry out periodic maintenance per manufacturer recommendations.
