Qualifications

• Ability to read job specifications to determine required setup materials.
• Knowledge to determine press use and adjustments for efficient operation.
• Understanding packing pressure for printing quality and press needs.
• Skill in mounting printing plates using a micrometer and performing routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single or multi-color offset press.
• Perform make-ready tasks: hanging plates, installing cylinders, and checking image alignment.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs; clean and maintain press.
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
