Job summary

RRD is seeking a 2nd shift Press Operator to set up, adjust, operate, and maintain multiple press systems. You will perform make-ready tasks, inspect plates and blankets, adjust color and registration, and keep the press in good working order to meet quality specifications.

The role offers a 2nd shift 3pm–11pm with a $3/hour premium and a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. Must have offset printing expertise and the ability to perform precise adjustments. Benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret job specifications and determine press settings.
• Skill to use micrometer to mount/align printing plates and perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks: hang plates, install cylinders, prep blankets, adjust tension and registration.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specs.
• Clean, lubricate, maintain press and replace worn parts; perform minor repairs.
• Perform periodic maintenance as recommended by manufacturer.
