Job summary

RRD is seeking a Press Operator 2 for the 2nd shift to set up, adjust, operate, and maintain multiple press systems. The role includes responsible make-ready tasks, color corrections, and ensuring print quality aligns with specifications.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and understand job specifications and determine appropriate press usage and settings.
• Skill in making precise control adjustments and routine maintenance on presses.
• Experience with basic press-related repairs and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates, installing cylinders, and aligning images.
• Make color corrections and press adjustments to meet quality specifications.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press; perform minor repairs as needed.
