Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic Office Supervisor to join Barton College as a full-time team member. The role supports daily administrative operations, oversees data entry for stock and orders, and maintains vendor/customer relationships within the college dining environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to delegate and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.
Administrative and clerical experience, including office management.

Responsibilities

Maintain vendor and customer relationships; update contact information as necessary.
Balance and authorize petty cash disbursements.
Supervise data entry to ensure stock, food and pastry orders are entered timely and accurately.
Supervise inter-office mail distribution to field personnel.
Order office supplies.
Assist in recruiting, interviewing, drug testing, completing new hire paperwork and training new team members.
Greet visitors to the dining hall in a pleasant and informed manner.
Perform other clerical/administrative functions as necessary.
Prepare other miscellaneous reports or subject research as requested.
