New Jersey Judiciary is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Finance/Bookkeeping professional to support daily financial operations for two organizations. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and professional interaction with members, both virtually and in person.
The successful candidate will handle transactions, payroll coordination, reporting, and HR support in a small office environment, ensuring timely, precise financial and administrative processes.
The position supports the daily financial and administrative operations of both organizations. The person filling the position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting board operations, and helping ensure the organization runs efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with its mission. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, highly organized, and trustworthy with confidential information. The applicant should be comfortable working in a small environment, and personable and comfortable interacting virtually and in‑person with organization members.
Prior bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative experience required; Experience with non-profit financial reporting preferred.
Proficiency with QuickBooks, a must.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of confidentiality, discretion, and professional ethics.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred.
